Tense Oasis fans have been awaiting a confirmation email to state that they've successfully signed up for the ticket presale ballot for almost 12 hours now. Fans rushed to sign up as the announcement for presale went live around 8.15pm on Tuesday, August 27, and many received nothing to say they'd been successful in their Supersonic quest.
Now the band have shared an update reassuring fans that they will receive a confirmation email, there's just been a bit of a delay due to demand. Their official X (Twitter) account said: "We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email. Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries.
"Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday 28th August, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot."

Oasis Live '25 will see 14 dates in the UK and Ireland, kicking off on July 4 and 5 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The surprise presale came 12 hours after Liam and Noel Gallagher and the band announced they were reunited after 15 years and would tour next year with general sale tickets going live on Saturday morning, August 31.
How to register for Oasis presale ballot
- The pre-sale ballot sign-up window begins at 7PM BST on Tuesday 27th August 2024 and closes at 7pm BST on Wednesday 28th August 2024 via https://oasis.os.fan/presaleballot
All successful ballot entrants will receive their code from oasismynet on Friday 30th August 2024 by 12pm BST. If you do not receive an email, your application has not been successful.
Successful applicants will receive an email with full access information the morning of Friday 30th August.
When you fill in the details to register for presale, you'll be prompted to answer a few questions, too, just to ensure you are not a bot. They include, how many times have you seen Oasis live and where your preferred country is to see them. There's a third question, too, who's the original drummer of Oasis, and for that, the answer is Tony McCarroll.
Strict rules you'll have to follow:
- Successful ballot entrants can claim a maximum of one (1) code.
- Codes have no cash value, and are non-transferable, case-sensitive, and good for one-time use only for limited tickets during pre-sale window. The code must be used with the email address to which they were originally sent.
- The pre-sale will be operated by Ticketmaster or their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies. The code will be generated by the promoter and an email to each eligible entrant will be sent by oasismynet to the same email address used by each successful ballot entrant to sign-up to the pre-sale ballot.
- Ticket sales are limited to 4 per person. Only tickets purchased through approved agents are valid. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission.
- Only a limited number of tickets are available in the pre-sale window for all successful pre-sale ballot entrants. Tickets will be offered on a first-come first served basis. Please note that there is no guarantee that any successful pre-sale ballot entrants will be able to buy tickets to any of the eligible dates using a code.
- Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees). Please only use the official resale partners www.twickets.live and Ticketmaster. Selling tickets through unauthorised resale platforms will breach these T&Cs and those tickets may be cancelled.
- A ticket is a personal, revocable license and, at all times, remains the property of the Promoters. Tickets must be surrendered to the Promoters upon request.
- This ticket is sold on behalf of the Promoters to the Consumer. Business or traders are specifically prohibited from purchasing for this event. Any who do so will have their tickets cancelled.
- All ticket sales data will be manually forensically examined and any use of bots, multiple identities, false identities, or other fraudulent means of acquiring tickets may be reported to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in North America, Europe Cybercrime in Europe and the National Crime Agency in the UK.
- Regardless of the method of delivery you select at purchase, promoters reserve the right to change ticket delivery to box office collection with Government issued photographic ID in the name of the person who booked the tickets.
How to buy tickets aside from presale
General sale tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am on Saturday, August 31 and will be available from Ticketmaster, www.seetickets.com and www.gigsandtours.co m.
The official tickets will likely sell out very fast but there's always resale sites. Ticketmaster has fan resale where you normally can get resale tickets face value. Twickets is another option for this. You can also get fan-to-fan resale on sites like viagogo and Vividseats.
Viagogo and Vividseats disclaimer
Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.
With that said, Viagogo also commented: "Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."
