What is the 1-800 number for Kaiser in California? ›

Employees may contact the Regional Human Resources Command Center at (855) 599-9922. Physicians may contact the TPMG Physician Benefits Team at (510) 625-6600. The EAP offers a free and confidential service for all Kaiser Permanente employees and their dependent family members.

If you or one of your family are covered by more than one health plan, you could be paying too much for your medical care. By coordinating benefits for medical care and services through Coordination of Benefits, health plans can provide quality care for their members without paying for services twice.

What is the difference between a PPO and a HMO? ›

HMO plans typically have lower monthly premiums. You can also expect to pay less out of pocket. PPOs tend to have higher monthly premiums in exchange for the flexibility to use providers both in and out of network without a referral. Out-of-pocket medical costs can also run higher with a PPO plan.

You're eligible for most benefits if you are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week. Who Pays? Kaiser Permanente pays most of the cost of your benefits. Through our flexible benefits program, you receive flex credits to help you buy the benefits you want.
