So, Iโm trying to generate a report to see a comprehensive list of individuals who have held specific roles within our company, whether theyโre currently in those roles or held them in the past. Iโm focusing on about 20 or more roles, and thatโs where things get tricky.Hereโs the catch: whenever I try to filter or adjust the parameters in the report section, it only shows me the most recent transactions or the individuals currently occupying those roles. What I really need is to see everyone who has ever held those roles up to this date. Challenge #2 - The data team backlog is building and building but you don't have headcount to grow the team. Almost every data team that I've worked with - actually scratch that - EVERY data team I've worked with have been over-worked and understaffed. Let's talk shop for a minute. Business automation tools โ everyone hates them. I've spent my career managing these, and they always seem to stink, no matter how much time and effort is invested in them. Admittedly, in my career, I've personally wasted weeks (or years) of IT time and resources trying to handle these tools (sorry, IT partners...).AI and the latest tech show great promise, but for now, most of us are still stuck with wonky Excel macros, ancient AS400 systems, and a web of customized tools that give you a headache. Working with these tools is like trying to untangle headphones every day...Upgrading is expensive and comes with significant implementation risks. Eventually, you will need to bite the bullet, but maybe just not today. Perhaps an upgrade is out of budget or not currently in scope.As a remote team augmentation specialist company, here's an idea.Imagine a dedicated developer/business analyst swooping in to rescue your custom tools. No corporate jargon, just talented hands ready to roll up their sleeves and get things back on track.
