This is a super cute setup if you’re planning to loft your bed and put your desk underneath it.
I definitely recommend setting up your bed and desk like this if your room is super small!
I lived in a quad my freshman year and our room was small considering there were four people living inside.
We always regretted not setting our room up like this! I promise it will save you SO much space and it’s super cute!

This picture is totally roommate goals! I love that their beds match and the color scheme!
If you’re planning to raise your bed in college make sure you bring a mini stool of some sort.
I didn’t bring one my freshman year so I literally had to jump into my bed every night (I thought it was kind of fun, but it would definitely be a lot easier to just have a little stool).
I like how these girls have white storage ottomans next to their beds. These are great because they can act as a stool while providing you with extra storage!

I wanted to end this post with a picture of my freshman year dorm room. I really like certain aspects of my decorations and dislike others. This picture was taken on move-in day.
A month or two later I added pink into my color scheme and it was a lot cuter!
I think my tapestry is really cute! I wanted to include yellow in my color scheme so this tapestry was perfect. The best part is, it’s less than $20 on Amazon.
Tapestry Tip: Use large command hooks to hang up your tapestry. Small command hooks aren’t strong enough and your tapestry will fall down.
For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to use small command hooks to hang up my tapestry and they fell down so many times!
I also love my white comforter and photo wall! The exact comforter that I used all of freshman year is linked below. It is great quality, super warm, and cozy.
Photo Wall Tip: If you are planning to hang up any photos in your dorm room use fun-tak! I hung up so many photos on my wall with washi tape and they kept falling down until I started using fun-tak.
Fun-tak will not damage any walls either so it is perfect for college dorm rooms. Trust me, this stuff is magical!
